The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an internationally owned and globally recognized direct English language test of the highest quality.IELTS tests the complete range of English language skills, which will commonly be encountered by students when studying or training in the medium of English and for immigration purposes. All candidates are tested in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Keep all your concentration on listening carefully for the half hour or so that the test lasts. Slip of concentration can make you lose the sequence of answers and panic sets in fast.

You can apply in British Council and AEO in Pakistan for the IELTS.AEO offices are situated in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. You have to visit the offices to get form or download it from their official website.

Instructions for the IELTS Test....

There is official IELTS Practice Materials of British Council which consist of booklet and an audio CD. This contains complete sample tests for the both Academic and General Training Modules with answers.

Candidates located in the cities where there is a British Council office must deposit the IELTS test fee of PKR 12000/ in the selected Standard Chartered Bank (bank branches detail is given at last). If you give test with AEO then fee will be PKR 13000/.

You can apply for test again whenever you wish if you didnât get required bands.

If a candidate is not satisfied with his bands he can apply for remarking. Its fee is PKR 8220/- of British Council and the fee of AEO is PKR 10000/.
